Borlänge centrala FVO

Borlänge central FVO comprises about 30 km of Dalälven from Torsång in the south to Gimsbärke in the north. In addition, Grängshammarsån and Tunaån are included, as well as about 40 lakes. The total water area is 900 ha.

Our waters

You will find our best sport fishing waters in Dalälven, Tunaån, Grängshammarsån, Bysjön and Båtstasjön. The boat station lake is our put-and-take water.

Planting

In Båtstasjön, rainbow trout are planted from May to the end of the year. In Dalälven between Bullerforsen and SSAB, compensation is released for ready-to-catch trout during the summer. In Tunaån, perch fry are planted.

Boat ramps in Dalälven are located in Färjegårdarna, Norr Amsberg and Båtsta

Bridges for the disabled

At the rest area on the north side of Bysjön there is a bridge for the disabled.

Crayfishing

Crayfish fishing is only allowed for fishing right holders.

Borlänge municipality transfers 100 fishing rights to people who are permanently resident in Borlänge municipality. The cost of these fish dishes is SEK 400.

The lease

Lake Stora Länsan is leased to Länsan's fisheries conservation association. ATM is available by the lake.
