Drängsjön (The lake is permanently closed due to an accident)
Here you can easily access Put @ Takefiske after rainbow, trout and brook trout in a scenic area adjacent to the Domarudd's open-air farm and nature reserve. Fishing is done from land or from bookable boats and is open to members of ÖSFK and paying guests. Note that in the lake there are parts where neither fishing nor fishing from a boat is allowed. See special map and information at the fishing lake. Possibility of lodging and booking fishing packages can be found at Domaruddens open-air farm, where there is also dining, sauna facilities, beach, barbecue areas, etc. Good parking facilities. (see www.domarudden.se) Drängsjön is easily accessible and is only 4 kilometers from central Stockholm.

Åker Canal - Lower part
The canal offers fishing in central Åkersberga for various species such as whitefish (brax, roach, björn, marrow, etc.), sea trout, gös, pike, perch, lake and asparagus. The members of ÖSFK offer free fishing here and guests are welcome to buy a day - or weekly card. Fishing ban is valid from September 15 to December 31. Some stretches, including around Slussholmen and at Smedbyån's outflow, is protected all year round. It is easy to get around with municipal transport.

Trastsjön and Södersjön
These lakes are tied together by a short stay in Trastsjöskogens scenic area about 10 minutes from central Åkersberga.In these lakes, fishing mainly for species such as braxen, pike, perch, sutter and carp. In addition to the above fishing waters, the membership of Österåkers Sportfiskeklub provides increased fishing rights to various archipelago waters belonging to Österåkers municipality. In addition to free hand-held fishing, there is the possibility of house-need fishing with nets, lanes and angels. Also some possibility of trolling with electric motor according to special rules.

 The area includes one or more fishing areas for catch-and-release, i.e the fishes are gently put back into the water alive.

Österåkers Sportfiskeklubb

Österåkers Sportfiskeklubb started operations in 1943 and is today one of the country's largest fishing clubs / associations with about 600 members. The sports fish club manages and supervises Österåkers municipality's fishing waters but also by other leased waters. Archipelago water and Drängsjön, Trastsjön, Södersjön and the lower part of Åker's canal. In Drängsjön you will take putt and take-fishing for angling. The club carries out fishing and supervising activities in the managed waters.
