Ale fiskarna

Göta älv (Kungälv-Ale) och Grönån

Västra Götalands län / Kungälv and Ale municipality.

Göta älv is Sweden's largest watercourse and has virtually all of Sweden's freshwater species.

The river is approximately 10 m deep and the edges are usually stranded with explosive stones. The best way to fish in the river is from a boat, as access from land is not the best. Boat sites can be found in Surte, Kungälv, Nol and in the mouth of Grönån next to the parking lot. The area includes Göta River from the Jordfallsbron to the border with the Municipality of Lilla Edet, as well as Grönån's headquarters except for Forån, where fishing is allowed up to the road bridge in Skepplanda.

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 14.
