Varberg is located in Halland, which is a coastal landscape in southwest Sweden. The nature is very beautiful and varied with large beech forests in the eastern parts and coniferous forests in the north. There are also beaches, plains, agriculture, and wetlands. Not to mention the open expanses along the sea, the Kattegat. The large watercourse Viskan meanders north of Varberg from Veddige and out towards Klosterfjorden. The fishing in Varberg offers everything from sea fishing, fishing in small to large lakes and fishing in flowing watercourses and the catch offers an equally wide range such as, for example, pike, pikeperch, perch and salmon.
If you want to fish in lakes, there are many fishing areas to choose from.
