Ömmeln
Lake Ömmeln is beautifully situated in an undisturbed environment. Abundant abundance of pike and perch.
Salmon, eel, vendace and roach are also present.
The lake is excellent for both angling and trolling.
Ömmeln's clean water makes the fish excellent as a food fish. Last year, the known record weights of g pike were 11.5 kg and perch 1.2 kg. A suitable mooring place for a boat is at Hugnerud, see map.
The area includes one or more fishing areas for catch-and-release, i.e the fishes are gently put back into the water alive.
