For the more adventurous fisherman, there are lovely forest stars with large trout and char to try. However, it requires its hiking. Trout fishing in one of our large lakes Amungen and Ljugaren can be a real highlight. There are two fantastically beautiful lakes that have their own reproduction of large Rockåöring. In 2020, the record numbers were 9 kg and 9 kg respectively in the two lakes.
A real gem in the area is Ljusaxen with its clear water, as the name suggests. Fine char fishing in the winter and rainbow / trout during the summer. There is also a handicap-friendly ramp to fish from and the obvious slogan to grill or consume your lunch bag.
A wish from us is that fishermen in our waters take care of the fish stock. Feel free to fish a lot and often but do not catch more than what is needed.

Rättvik Municipality is located in the heart of Sweden.
Maybe it's Classic Car Week or Midsummer Celebration that most people think of. There is also magnificent scenery and wonderful fishing waters. The forests around are one of Sweden's most densely populated areas where bear, wolf and lice can be seen if you are lucky.
Our fishing waters are many and offer great variety. Here you can fish everything from pike, perch, lake, trout, char, whitefish to whitefish. We also have many very close fishing waters in our area that are rich in both perch and pike. Here you can easily find your favorite and why not go fishing with the whole family.
