Sallsjöåsystemets FVO are an area of varying fishing. The area contatins a number of larger lakes and smaller unregulated rivers that flow between them. There are nice pike and perch in the lakes. The rivers between the lakes contains trout and grayling.
The area is easily accessible by roads up to most water and by some water there is wind protection.
In Gåstjärn and Per-Salomonstjärn there are released Rainbow trout, Trout and Char.
The area are one of Sweden's best bream and ide fishing areas. Lappland bream masters is an annually held international competition on the lakes Lavsjön, Sallasjön and Ullsjön. http://lapplandbreammaster.com

The Sallsjö system's FVO is a merger of former Lajksjö, Lavsjö and Svanaby fishing associations. The merger took place in 1988 and the association's goal is to promote opportunities for better fishing in the waters managed by the fisheries management area.
