Alfta FVOF

Alfta FVOF manages 104 lakes larger than 1 ha, 17 lakes between 100-1500 ha and a large number of flowing waters of varying size. The largest of these watercourses is Voxnan . Perhaps the most famous, for fishermen, is probably the mythical "Svartån" - Flaxnan , as the fisherman and author Hans Lidman wrote so captivatingly in several of their books. The upper part of the river is now leased to Woxnadalens Flugfiske.

You can also walk in Lidman's footsteps at Rossån , which flows in the northernmost part of our area. In these silly forests you can encounter the bear or the controversial wolf. Other flowing waters that should be mentioned are Andån , Hässjaån , Anneforsån , Häsboån and Vinnfarsån that coincide with Rossån and form Långboån . These waters contain trout and harr, but pike and perch also occur.

Among the lakes there are a number of put and take-water of different nature, and some of the support options contribute to the original stock of predominantly trout and char. In some of the lakes there is a good chance of coarse pike and of course perch. A number of water also holds gusts, whales and lake.
