Hinnsjöns FVO

Hinnsjöns Fisheries Area is located approximately 3 mil southwest of Örnsköldsvik. The area is large and offers exciting fishing both in a number of larger lakes and flowing streams, ranging from rainbow and trout to coarse pike. The area includes several fishing waters.

In Stor-Degersjön, Hinnsjön, Grätnässjön, Mjösjön, Drömmesjön, Orrvikssjön and Staffartjärnen and the Wines, you fish pike and perch. In Stor-rödtjärn rødding and in Grätnäsån, Hustjärnsbäcken, Hinnsjöån and Degersjöån there is also trout. In part of the network there are both trout and rainbow.

In the regulation ponds at Nyfors and Hinnsjöån, the trout and rainbow are planted at 0.5-2 kg and there is a put-and-take fishing for regular fishing card prices. The area is famous for its coarse pike, the largest caught pike lies on impressive 17 kg in Drømmesjön! The network offers a natural fishing for rainbow, trout, perch and pike.

One tip is to experience the river at a steady pace from a canoe, there is a good chance to see bees here.

Boats are available for rent in Orrvikssjön and Nätraån at Västanå town.
