Must be carried when fishing and is personal.
Applies to fishing with hand gear, trolling and 10 anglers.
Max 2 rods/fisherman, max 4 rods/boat team
Free hand gear fishing for youth up to 15 years of age with a rod. (Identification requirement in case of doubt about age)
For local residents with annual passes and fishing right owners, in addition to the above, it also applies to use
2 roach cabins, 1 Russian, 1 marten, longline max 100 hook.
as well as a maximum of 2 nets and at least a 60mm mesh post.
Local residents refer to residents and cottage owners on and along the river
from and including Untra to highway 76 bridge over Dalälven.
All launched and abandoned gear must be marked with
name and telephone no. Unmarked tools are confiscated.

Fish caught from MMFVO may not be marketed.

Mini-Max dimensions

Size 50cm - 70cm

Pike 45cm - 75cm

A maximum of 3 walleyes or pike per day may be taken.

Protected fish are salmon, sea trout, grayling, asp and eel.

Targeted fishing for zander is prohibited during the spawning season between May 1 and June 20.

Targeted fishing means i.a. bottom fishing.

Net ban in the entire area from the ice break-up until June 20.

New fishing ban limit downstream of Untra power plant.

Permission for fishing competitions is granted by the board and must be notified no later than one month in advance.
