INFORMATION:
The fishing license entitles you to fish within Markaryd's fisheries management area:

- Lagan (downstream Kvarnaholm power plant, Strömsnäsbruk to Majenfors power plant.)
In addition, in Getesjön (NOTE in Getesjön only boats with electric motors are allowed) Lokasjön Byasjön, Klocksjön, Skärsjön and Svartsjöarna with connecting watercourses but not Krokebäcken.
The fishing card must be carried when fishing and that the card is personal and may not be transferred.
Children/youth up to the age of 16 fish for free in the area.
For owners of fishing rights, special provisions apply within the original probate law.
Fishing rules:
Hand tools only permitted
Ice fishing max 10 angelfish (PIKE SCISSORS PROHIBITED)
Fish species:
Trout, pike, zander, perch, lake, eel, carp, tench, bream, roach, tench and tench.

ATTENTION! ALL CARP MUST BE RELEASED IMMEDIATELY NOTE!
Minimum dimensions:
Trout: 35 cm.
Walleye: 45-75 cm, max 2 walleye/day.

Conservation period for trout from 15/10 - 29/2
DO NOT TREAD ON PROPERTY ADJACENT TO FISHING WATERS, BE CAREFUL OF ANIMALS AND BIRD LIFE.

We have an inspection fee, SEK 2,000 in case of violation of the association's rules.

Examples of violations covered by the control fee are:
• when a fisherman caught fish that were too small or too big, i.e. violated the association's rules on minimum size or maximum size
• when a fisherman with an annual card or the equivalent violates rules on the period of protection that apply to a certain part of the card's validity period
• when a fisherman fishes within a protected area, for example a spawning bay that the association wants to protect and where the protected area borders an area where fishing is permitted
• when a fisherman uses illegal bait or bait or bait or illegal number of gears
• unmarked or incorrectly marked equipment with a known owner, if the association has decided that equipment must be marked in a certain way
