Leased waters for sport fishing within Åfvo are Lake Åkersjön and Åkerån.

Children/youth up to 18 years of age fish for free.
The fishing license entitles you to fish with a hand tackle, max. 3 hooks, in Lake Åkersjön and Åkerån, with the following exceptions:
From 1/9 to 31/10, all fishing is prohibited in Åkerån, as well as within a distance of 200 m from Storån, Lillån, Bölesbäcken and Åkerån's inlet and outlet from the lake.
Around the Storån, Lillån and Åkerån estuaries, the 200-m distance is marked with white posts on the beach
A total fishing ban applies throughout the year in Storån, Lillån, Bölesbäcken, Bergesbodsbäcken, Storbäcken and Kvarnbäcken.
Uttring is permitted for owners of fishing rights and "outer card buyers" from 20/6 until 15/8.
Trout with a total length of less than 35 cm may not be caught. Trout that do not measure up must be re-released regardless of condition.
All forms of mashing are prohibited. Trolling is prohibited. Watercraft/Jetskis of any size are prohibited.

General provisions

ATTENTION! Only cohabiting partners (written at the same address) may buy fishing licenses as a family member.
Before fishing begins, the cardholder must have taken note of these regulations with his signature on the fishing card.
Fishing may only be done with sports fishing gear, max. one rod brought from hand per card holder, thus not with long line, pole hook or twine gear. Trolling is prohibited.
The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
Fishing license must be carried when fishing and shown to fishing supervisors on request.
Fishermen must be aware of current laws and regulations as well as rules specially designed by FVO'f.
Violation of the regulations stated results in the forfeiture of fishing rights and may lead to demands for control fees or prosecution.

ATTENTION! When buying a fishing license, don't forget to state the name of the person for whom the specific fishing license should apply!
