Fishing license prices & rules for Siljan-Rättvikens FVOF
The fishing applies to Rättviken and the Enån according to the depth chart Siljan-Orsasjön-Insjön.

Prices:
Day pass is valid for 24 hours, weekly pass is valid for 7 days, annual pass is valid 1/1 – 31/12.

Rules
In order to use fishing within the fisheries management area, a fishing license must be issued and carried when fishing.
Children under 16 fish for free.
For trolling and casting, a maximum of 10 baits/rods applies.
Fishing with nets, Russian and angelfish is permitted (special prohibitions must be respected, see below).
But must be labeled with name and phone number.
Maximum of six interconnected nets, maximum 150 m.
Other restrictions: max. 5 minnows, 12 anglers/ice fishing rods (pike scissors not allowed) and max. 2 Russians.
Net fishing is prohibited in the area within a line on the northern edge of Ickviken and the sewage treatment plant is part of the campaign to save Siljansöringen.
Fishing prohibited 100 m upstream and downstream of Enåkvarn in Enån.
Minimum dimensions, etc.:
Trout with the adipose fin remaining are wild and valuable breeding fish and must therefore be released back.
Tag-tagged trout and trout that are fin-clipped may be taken regardless of size.
Pike longer than 90 cm must be released back.
Perch longer than 37cm must be released back.

Crayfish fishing
Rules:

Only for local residents, fishing rights owners and property owners.
Max 10 cages, must be marked with name, address and telephone number.
Minimum measurement 9 cm (tail tip to forehead tip).
Crayfish fishing is allowed from the 1st Friday in August to the 4th Sunday in September.

New for 2019 is that everyone who has fishing rights in Rättviken and everyone who is registered in Rättvik can fish every day between the 1st Friday in August and the 4th Sunday in September. But those who are property owners but not registered in the public register in Rättvik may fish Friday 17.00 - Sunday 17.00 between the 1st Friday in August to the 4th Sunday in September

Control fee
Where crayfish fishing or other fishing takes place that deviates from the above-mentioned regulations, the fisheries conservation area association or its representatives have the right to charge a control fee of SEK 2,000.

Two large rice paddies are located within the area. One is outside Persborg (coordinates: x 6753244, y 1460439 ), the other outside Vikarby boat harbor (coordinates: x 6754440, y 1458171 ), (RT 90).
