Fishing reels:
You who fish in ÖSFK's waters are responsible for informing you about the rules that apply and following them. See information boards and www.osfk.org.
Fishing is free for ÖSFK members and for children / young people under 18 years of age. For others, fishing licenses must be redeemed before fishing begins . Violation of fishing rules is prosecuted. All fishing is at your own risk.

Åkers Kanal - lower part:
* Fishing is allowed from the piers 25 m below Slussholmen to the mouth in Tunafjärden. With the exception of a protected area adjacent to the Smedbyån outlet in the canal (25 m upstream and 25 m downstream of the Smedbyån outlet). (NOTE! In Smedbyån there is a total fishing ban)
* During the period 15 Sept - 31 Dec, there is a total fishing ban in the entire Åker Canal to protect the sea trout that goes up for spawning during this period.
* A maximum of one gear may be used at the same time per fisherman.
* Aspen and eel are protected species and mandatory re-release prevails . For sea trout, the minimum size is 50 cm, for pikeperch 40 cm, for pike, window outlets apply at least 40 of a maximum of 75 cm and a maximum of 3 pieces / day.

Trastsjön and Södersjön:

* Only fishing from land allowed.
* Maximum one gear per fisherman.
* Tench and carp (Spegelkarp and Gräskarp) are protected and for these species there is mandatory re-release . Release must be done promptly and the fish must be handled with great care. Carp mat is recommended.
