Note! Be careful at the docks - they need to be repaired! Now the ice fishing is over, so remember to double check the rules! We raffle a fishing license monthly among those who submit a fishing report after fishing! More information at Åmål's tourist office, turism@amal.se, 0532 17098.
Rules and regulations & Terms & Conditions
- Fishing licenses must be purchased before fishing begins
- The card is valid for a maximum of 24 hours
- Fishing licenses must be worn visibly
- Permitted gears are Fly- and spin rod, only one per person
- The fishing shall be conducted from the shore or pier
- The card is valid only if the date and time is filled in
- The card is personal

Fishing for children under the age of 10 is free. But it only applies in the company of the guardian / adult. However, for children and young people who are 10-16 years old, it costs SEK 75.

Fishing with any bait (shrimp, corn etc) and powerbait is NOT allowed

Bottom fishing is not allowed
- Maximum catch: 3 fish/card - if you catch 3 fish and want to continue fishing you must buy a new license directly.
- Maximum 3 hooks/rod rope
- Landed fish may not be returned
- Fishing license and digital fishing license shall upon request be presented to the overseer
Violation of these rules is deemed to be illegal fishing, which means it would be notified to the
police.
