Fishing rules, Nässjöortens FVO

Fishing license

• Fishing licenses are required for fishing and crayfishing in Ingsbergssjön, Handskerydssjön and Runnerydssjön.
• Violation of fishing rules is prosecuted. A valid fishing license is personal and must always be presented when fishing.
• Children & young people up to the age of 18 fish for free but must solve cards and take part in the rules that apply. NOTE! Crayfish fishing is NOT included in the youth card but is purchased separately via the crayfish fishing card.

Fishing

• Only fishing with hand gear is allowed (spin fishing, angling, fly fishing, ice fishing / angling and angling).
• For angling and ice fishing, a maximum of 5 gear per person applies.
• All carp caught are returned regardless of size.
• Pike over 70 cm, and perch over 35 cm are unconditionally put back. The maximum catch for pike under 70 cm is 2 per day and person. Free catch of perch under 35 cm and other "white fish" such as roach, bream, etc.
• Fishing from boat, kayak and float is allowed in all three lakes.
• There is a total ban on internal combustion engines in all three lakes. However, it is permitted to use an electric motor.

Crayfishing

• Fishing with a maximum of 5 cages / nets per person.
• Only crayfish fishing from land may take place.
• Cages / nets must be marked with name and telephone number.
• Cages connected with line are forbidden to fish with.
• Crayfish under 10 cm must unconditionally be replaced.
• Crayfish fishing takes place from 1 August at 17:00 until 15 August at 17.00.

Roach huts

• The maximum number is 3 in Handskerydssjön and 3 in Runnerydssjön
• The location must not interfere with fishing with a rod
• The roach huts must be marked with name and telephone number.
• It is not permitted to place roach huts by bridges
• Only allowed between 1/10 - 31/3

For everyone's well-being

• Do not litter in nature! Bring all rubbish with you when you leave the place.
• Fire only in arranged fireplaces. When leaving the place, make sure the fire is related.
• As a visitor, you are responsible for informing yourself of the laws and regulations that apply to the fishing water you visit.
• If rules are not followed, the fisheries conservation area's supervisors have the right to charge an inspection fee of SEK 1,500.
