Lake Säbylund

Kumla Sportfiskeklubb releases fish 2-3 times a year and the amount released is based on information from visits to the lake but also on the catch reports from those who buy fishing licenses.

In Säbylundssjön, it is Put & Take that applies, but Catch & Release is allowed if you use a barbless single hook and only when spinning (must not occur when angling) and that the quota is not met.

ATTENTION! During the summer, the lake is frequently visited by bathers when the weather permits. Bathers stay on one side and it is possible to find other areas to fish from.

The person on the fishing license has the right to fish in the lake to which the fishing license applies.

Max 2 salmon type fish per card. Perch over 30 cm must be released again if the condition of the fish allows it. When the quota is filled, a new fishing license must be issued or fishing must be ended. Only one fishing gear is allowed per fishing license!

Children under 15 with a guardian have the right to fish together with a guardian, the fishing quota will not change! Of course then with each person's fishing rod, but the child must fish actively!

Permitted fishing methods are Spinning, Reeling, Fly-fishing, Pimpel, Fishing (not permitted with Maize, Baitfish and when fishing with Powerbait, only dough may be used, no balls).

Only one hanger is allowed and jerk fishing is prohibited.

Only floating rings are allowed and the floating ring angler always gives priority to those fishing from shore.
