Generally:
The fishing license is valid for fishing with hand gear such as fly rod, reel rod, spinning rod, fishing rod and pimpel rod.
Crab fishing not included.
The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
The fishing license must always be carried along with valid identification and must be presented at the request of a supervisor.

The FVO of the place of residence

Allgunnen FVO / Badebodaån FVO
To carry out fishing with hand tools: Fly rod, reel rod, spinning rod, fishing rod and pimpel rod. The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. The card must be carried when fishing and the request must be presented to the supervisor. Trolling with more than one rod is prohibited. Minimum size: pike and zander 40 cm.

Manual FVO
For beach fishing along Emån's western side on the stretch from Dalby up to Blankaström's power station, the land owner's permission is required. However, fishing from boats and canoes is permitted within this stretch without special permission.
Do not step on fields with growing crops and be careful with fences. Do not park in such a way that an obstacle or nuisance is created for agriculture or other traffic.
Fishing for catfish is prohibited because the catfish is protected. Caught catfish must be unconditionally released back into the river.
The minimum size for trout and salmon is 50 centimeters. All salmon and sea trout tagged with radio transmitters must be returned.

Högsby Emådalens FVO
Högsby/Emådalen fishing area's granted stretch of Emån. Fishing is prohibited between 30/9 and 1/3 to protect the trout during its spawning period. Trout is not allowed to fish with the tourist fishing card.
Fishing for catfish is prohibited because the catfish is protected. Caught catfish must be unconditionally released back into the river.
The minimum size for trout and salmon is 50 centimeters. All salmon and sea trout tagged with radio transmitters must be returned.

Kiasjön FVO
When trolling, a maximum of 2 fishing rods may be used at the same time.
Minimum size for pike and zander: 40 cm.

Sinnersjöarna FVO
The fishing license is valid for fishing with hand gear.
Net fishing and crayfish fishing are not included.
Goose fishing: Fish smaller than 45 cm or larger than 65 cm are released back.
A maximum of two approved fish may be kept per fisherman/day.

Tämmens FVO

Välen's FVO
Trolling is prohibited.

Elmten FVO
Minimum size of pike - 40 cm.
