General provisions:

• The card refers to fishing only in Hårkan's water system and not in other waters belonging to the above fisheries management areas
• Fishermen must be aware of current laws and regulations as well as rules issued by the FVO, as well as limits for the 5 different constituent FVOs, see below.
• Violation of the regulations stated results in the forfeiture of fishing rights and may lead to demands for control fees or prosecution
• Fishing may only be done with sport fishing equipment, max. one rod brought from hand per card holder, thus not with long lines, pole hooks or nets
• The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
• The fishing license must be carried when fishing and must be shown to the fishing supervisor on request
• Fishing with a boat or other floating craft is only allowed in certain lakes, see the respective fisheries management area
• In flowing water, fishing from a boat is not permitted
• Driving on existing forest roads is at your own risk
• Scooter traffic is prohibited in areas with plantation or young forest and arable land
• KEEP NATURE CLEAN, TAKE YOUR GARBAGE HOME WITH YOU, EXTINGUISH EV. FIRE
• FISH FOR TODAY'S NEEDS AND NOT FOR TOMORROW!

Valsjön's FVO
Water included:
Rengen (on the Swedish side) - Minimum trout size 35 cm, allowed to fish from a boat
Rengströmmen - open 1/11-31/8
Lake Valsjön - minimum size for trout and grayling 40 cm, allowed to fish from a boat
Toskströmmen - open 1/6-31/8, minimum size Ø+H 40 cm, ban on fishing with live bait (worm fishing), bag-limit 1 fish per fishing license per day. 1/7-31/7 fly fishing only.
Total fishing ban upstream of the bridge
Stor-Gruveln - Minimum grayling and trout size 35 cm, allowed to fish from a boat
Part of Hotagsjön - allowed to fish from a boat
General rules:
Minimum grayling and trout size 25 cm unless otherwise stated
Bag-limit max. 5 trout/fishing license and day unless otherwise stated
Not allowed to fish with live fish as bait
Free fishing for children and young people under the age of 18

Hair can - General rules flowing water
All fishing for trout in running water is prohibited between 1/9 - 31/5
Lövsjöströmmen - all fishing with a baited hook is prohibited.
Minimum size for caught grayling and trout is 40 cm, max. 3 fish of grayling or trout above the minimum size may be kept
per day and fisherman (does not apply to whitefish). All trout and grayling that fall below the minimum size must be re-released regardless of the condition of the fish.
Free fishing for children and young people up to and including 16 years of age only in the company of a guardian who holds a valid fishing card (on his quota).

Sandviksjön Edsforsen FVO
Water included in the Hårkan card

* Edsforsen - NOTE! The eastern furrow in Edsforsen not allowed downstream of Storön's northern tip.
* NOTE ! Fishing in Baksjön is not included in the Hårkan card.

Hårkan - general rules for running water:
A rod brought by hand max 3 hooks. Fishing with live bait not allowed.
Max 3 noble fish/day and card.
Grayling window outlet; Only size 35 - 45 cm may be taken up and kept.
Prohibition on taking up all wild trout with the adipose fin remaining - regardless of size . The ban applies for a five-year period (until 2029).
Fat-fin-clipped out-planted trout may be kept.
Fishing from a boat or float ring not permitted in flowing water.
Recommendation to use a barbless hook and to remove fish from the water.
Fishing ban: from 1 September – 31 May, with exception in Edsforsen after only grayling during the month of September
Day passes for September fishing are only sold at www.ifiske.se / Sandviksjön Edsforsen FVO.
For future good fishing, we recommend that all larger grayling be returned, as well as pike over 90 cm and perch over 45 cm.

Addendum to fishing rules within Lits FVO (Extended protection for wild trout and larger grayling) shall apply to
All wild Trout caught in Hårkan must be re-released, (the adipose fin remains)
A maximum of 5 fish (in total grayling and trout) may be kept / day. In Hårkan, you can keep a maximum of 3 graylings per day
