Fishing rules and prices Ryggens Fiskevårdsområde
Fishing license required for all fishing within Ryggen FVO (see map on notice board, website and iFiske)
Free fishing for children and young people up to the age of 14, as long as the following rules are followed.
Fishing for the general public in the fisheries management area :
Fishing license SEK 100 / day, SEK 400 / week or SEK 600 / year (the fishing license is personal and must be presented on site)
- One hand tool per person.
- 10 angeldon or ice fishing rods. Prohibition to bring bait fish from other watercourses. (Due to the risk of cancer infection).
- Maximum three precious fish per fishing license and day.
- Prohibition of crayfish fishing.
- Prohibition on fishing with nets, pike shears, marten or other hand tools.
- Prohibition in Ryggensjön to bring a boat or float. Other lakes allowed.
Note! We have Swedish crayfish in Ryggensjön. Due to the risk of crayfish plague in Ryggensjön, it is not permitted to use tools used in other lakes within two days. Djuptjärn, Fäbodsjön, Vargsjön, Lottbosjön and the stream from Holmsjön can be considered infected with crayfish plague!
Inspection fee of NOK 1500 is charged to those who break the area's fishing rules.

Fishing licenses for the public are sold online via iFiske.se and CircleK-Hofors 0290-208 65, Visthusboden St Skedvi 0225-27 00 75, Jaktia Falun 023-218 55.
