The Treälvs card is personal and it applies to sport fishing with a rod.
Detailed regulations according to the list below for each area.

Violation of established rules gives each FVO the right to charge a control fee of a maximum of 10% of the base amount

Lower Hårkans FVO

• The area stretches from the border with the Sandviksjöns/Edsforsen FVO down to the Högfors power plant.
• Fishing ban 1/10 – 31/5. Fishing for trout prohibited from 1/9.
• Pimpling through ice is allowed during the prohibition period.
• Maximum five fish per day (grey and trout).
• Minimum measurement 35 centimeters

Litsbygden's FVO

• The area includes Hårkan from Högfors down to Indalsälven. Indalsälven from Granbo/Långan down to Midskogs Kraftverk and Örån, Sännån, Fjälån, and Hällsgårdsån and Sännsjön (Part of, which also belongs to Lillsjöhögen's FVO).
• Fishing for Trout in Hårkan and all fishing in the other rivers is prohibited between 1/9 and 31/10.
• All wild trout caught in Hårkan must be re-released (fat fin cut off on trout that may be kept)
• A maximum of 3 fish (35 - 45 cm, grayling and trout in total) may be kept / day.
• It is not permitted to fish with a baited hook in the permitted tributaries to the Indalsälven including Hårkan. (applies in flowing water, = water velocity > 0.5 m/sec

Granboforsen's FVO

• The area includes the Indalsälven from the Kattstrupeforsen power plant down to the mouth of the Midskog reservoir at the mouth of Långan.
• Fishing with hand gear from land or from a boat rented by the fisheries management area. Fishing from your own boat is not permitted (applies to charter fishermen).
• Fishing for trout is prohibited 1/9 – 31/10.
• Fishing for grayling is prohibited 15/4 - 31/5.
• Minimum size for grayling and trout is 35 cm.
• Fishing with a sinker is prohibited.
• Floating allowed.
• All fishing from boats is prohibited between the railway bridge and Granbo power plant.
• Maximum 5 fish per day (grey and trout)

Lower Lågan's FVO

• The area includes Långan from the border with Landösjön FVO down to Långan's mouth in Indalsälven, Näversjöarna and Lundsjön.
• Fishing ban 1/9 – 31/10 and 15/4 – 31/5 respectively.
• At dams/fishing ways, fishing is prohibited 50 meters upstream and downstream of these.
• All fishing with a baited hook is prohibited.
• Only fish between 35 - 50 cm may be kept. (Applies to trout and grayling) All fish that fall below or exceed that measure must be released again regardless of the fish's condition!
• Fishing with hand gear and a maximum of 3. hooks.
• Fishing license is valid for sport fishing with a rod, carried by hand.
• Fishing is allowed against a fishing license valid for the day, week or year.
• A maximum of 2 fish/fishing license/day may be kept
• Not allowed with a brought boat in the Näversjöarna
• If the water temperature exceeds +18 C, fishing is temporarily closed.

Hissmofors FVO

• The area includes the Indal River from the bridge in Dvärsätt down to the Kattstrupeforsen power plant.
• Minimum size for trout = 35 cm
• Ban on fishing for trout 1/9 - 31/10
• Fishing prohibited (for safety reasons) within 50 m of the power plants as well as fishing from bridges over the river. see map
• Ban on fishing for trout 1/9 – 31/10 .
• Total fishing ban 1/9 - 31/10 between Dvärsättsbron (road Z1024) and E14 bridge
• Mackerel fishing permitted downstream of the E14 bridge 1/9 - 31/10, however only with a fly rod and catching a maximum of 2 fish/day
• Ban on otter fishing and bottom fishing in flowing water (between Hissmofors power station and Klingerbäcken) see map
• Only night fishing allowed when the water temperature exceeds 18 degrees
