For all types of fishing, a valid fishing license or proof of a purchased fishing license must be carried.

Summer fishing

• Fishing with hand gear is permitted all year round, with the exception of the month of August, when fishing is only permitted between 09.00-16.00. This is so as not to disturb the water owners' crayfish fishing.
• Motorboats are prohibited in the lake at a speed greater than 5 knots. In the bird protection areas there is a ban against motorboat traffic according to the county administrative board's decision.
• Trolling after a boat may only be done by hand (rowing) or electric motor.
• Ramp for loading boats is available in Hästerum. No charge for this.
• Boats are available for rent in Kramsäng, cost SEK 150 per occasion. Contact person, Bo Thulin 076-1361627.

Winter fishing

• When the ice has settled, fishing is permitted with pimpel and ice fishing tackle.
• If you have bought an annual pass, you can also fish with an angle.
• Young people under the age of 18 fish for free, but must register with one of the fishing license vendors.
• For everyone's comfort, keep clean and tidy in and around the lake, clean the boats after use, etc.
• Violations of current rules will be punished. In case of violation, a control fee can be charged according to the Act (1981:533) on fisheries protection areas.
• Fishing without a valid fishing license is illegal and a violation of the Fisheries Act (1993:787).
• Fishing inspectors have the right to confiscate all equipment used and fishing without a permit can lead to a police report.
