• The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred.
• Children and young people up to the age of 16 fish with a special fishing card, a free card.
• You are obliged to submit a catch report when salmon fishing regardless of whether you caught fish or not.
• The fly fishing section in Gargån requires a special fishing license.
• Salmon fishing is allowed from June 19 to September 14.
• Fishing is prohibited in the area against trout and salmon between September 15 - June 18, to protect the spawning of the trout and salmon.
• To protect the grayling spawn, it is forbidden to fish targeting grayling between March 15 - May 31.
• Fishing with a floating ring is permitted in all waters within the area.
• Respect other fishermen in the area. Use the so-called rotational fishing where this is considered necessary.
• Fishing from shore always comes before boat fishing. When fishing from a boat, care must be taken towards land fishermen.

Maximum dimensions:

• In the Vindelälven: grayling and trout 45 cm
• For salmon, the maximum size applies is 65 cm.
• In planted lakes: trout and char. Total max 2 fish/day/fisherman in planted waters.

Catch Limit:

• 4 fish (grey and trout), of which a maximum of 1 trout, which meets the applicable minimum/maximum size, may be taken per fisherman per day in the Vindelälven.
• In Gargån and Staggbäcken, a maximum of 2 graylings and a maximum size of 40 cm apply. All trout are re-released = No kill on trout.
• A maximum of 1 male salmon may be taken per fisherman/day, the females must be released back. This is because our area is within one of the river's more important spawning areas for salmon.
