Fishing right is granted only for sportfishing with handheld sportfishing equipment.

Types of fishing permitted: fly, spin, angling, ice fishing and trolling.

Only one rod in hand permitted, with max 3 flies or 3 extensions.

Minimum lenght for brown trout and char 25 cm, exept for brook trout and char which may be smaller. European grayling 30 cm.

Fishing by using an “utter” (water-sleigh with flies) is permitted only for fishright owners and persons with permanent domicile in Hede. Only one “utter” per boat allowed.

Fishing with nets is prohibited in all fishing waters. Special exceptions for fishright owners and persons with permanent domicile in Hede, on the river “Ljusnan”, the reservoir “Halvfari” and on “Magrassen. Further information about netfishing at your fishing permit sales agent.

All fishing prohibited from the reservoir “Halvfari” and 200 m downstream.

Fishing prohibited in all streaming waters, lakes and tarns from September 1st until October 31st. Exception: the river “Ljusnan” and “put & take” waters.

Fishing prohibited April 1st to May 31st in the creeks “Lunån”, Kvarnån” and “Särvån”.

Boat motor usage on Lake “Stöpsjön” prohibitet.

The selling of fish and fishing for personal gains is prohibited. Persons who are caught breaking this rule will be suspended from all further fishing within the fishing boundaries of Hede.

A valid fishing permit must be carried with you while fishing. The fishing permit is personal and may not be transfered to other persons. Children and teens may fish without a fishing permit until they reach the age of 15 years.

Your fishing permit is valid exclusively on lakes and tarns marked on the Hede fishing map, as well as streaming waters such as rivers, brooks and creeks.

For fishing in “put & take” tarns, a special permit is required, which is valid for that particular water only. Information at your nearest fishing permit agency.

The road to “Västsätersjöarna” ( Lakes “Fillingen” and “Härolden”) is a private road and you are required to pay a minor fee for using it. (Tollroad)

The fishing association of Hede can anytime and without prior notice decide to impose a temporary fishing stop on any given waters. Your fishing permit sales agent can inform you of eventual stops and restrictions in each respective case.

Fishing from a boat or other floating structures are not permitted in the Västvallstjärn , Lövåstjärn and Stortjärn.
