Fishing may only be conducted with a rod and no closer to fixed jetties than one hundred meters in Emten and fifty meters in Lake Flämsjön.

The fisheries management area calls for Catch and Release to promote stocks and ensure good fishing in the future as well. However, if you wish to take up fish, the following conditions apply:

Max catch:

Pike 1 pc. /day and person only size between 40-75 cm.

Perch 5 pcs. /day and person with a maximum measurement of 35 cm.

Perch over 35 cm and pike of other sizes must be released unconditionally.

The fishing license is personal and must bear the owner's name in order to be valid. The holder must be prepared to be able to provide identification. Children under the age of 16 may fish free of charge subject to compliance with current fishing regulations and under the responsibility of a guardian. Fishing may only be done with sport fishing gear, rod brought from hand (includes angling).

On ice-covered lakes, the card only applies to pimp fishing.

CANCER must not be caught.

Bait fish from other waters may not be used in the lakes.

Constitutions and statutes on fishing must be observed. Violation of current regulations results in the immediate forfeiture of the right to fish.
