Rules for fishing.
Fishing may be carried out in the various waters of the area against the redemption of one of our fishing licenses from 2023 onwards, including Yxen
In the case of shared waters, you can fish in the entire lake, however, it is up to you as a fisherman to find out if other rules in other fisheries management areas.

These may be resolved by residents and owners of real property within the fisheries conservation area.
The card is personal. Children under 16 fish for free. The card entitles you to fishing with 1 piece of hand gear and a maximum of 10 fishing rods/hooks or ice fishing rods per fishing card. Trolling and casting max. 5 rods/bait per boat and fishing card (Byrviken 10 pcs). In the ax there is a maximum of one hand tool per person and a maximum of one trout 30-50 cm per day. motorcycle ban in Ax
(follow the area's rules) The card also entitles you to net fishing max. 6 nets = 180m. Per card and 24 hours (not Axe). Outstanding gear must be clearly marked at both ends of the fishing gear with flags where the name and telephone number must be clearly indicated.
Other fishing licenses.
Children under 16 fish for free. The card is valid for fishing with 1 piece of hand gear and a maximum of 10 fishing rods/hooks or ice fishing rods.

Fishing in the Ax is included in the regular Siljansnäs card from January 2023
In Yxen, you can fish with one hand gear per person
You may catch one trout between 35-50 cm per day per person
Motors are prohibited (including electric motors) and net fishing is prohibited in Yxen
From 1/10 - 31/12 there is a fishing ban in Yxen
Restrictions on fishing.
* Max 1 walleye that is at least 50cm long/per card and day. All other walleyes are carefully reintroduced
* The gosling is protected at spawning week 20-26 (carefully reintroduced)
* Wild trout is protected (trout with adipose fin is protected) and carefully reintroduced
* A maximum of 1 fin-clipped trout with a minimum size of 50 cm may be taken per day and fishing license in our other waters
* In our flowing waters, a maximum of 3 trout/trouts with a minimum size of 15 cm may be caught per day/fishing license
* Pike over 100 cm are carefully reintroduced
* Perch over 40 cm are carefully resealed
* Fishing for sale is prohibited
* Fishing with scissors is prohibited
* Children under 16 fish for free on their guardian's fishing license
* Fishing license and identification must be able to be shown to supervisory staff on request
* Where fishing takes place that deviates from the above-mentioned regulations, FVO or its representatives have the right to charge a control fee of SEK 2,000
* Each fisherman has an obligation to find out which rules apply within the FVO in which he/she fishes
* From 1/9-31/12, all fishing in our flowing waters is prohibited
* All cards are valid from the date they are signed and one month or one year ahead.
