RULES FOR FISHING IN LAKE VIKEN
You require a fishing licence if you wish to fish.
Fishing licence is not transferable.
The period of validity is stated on the fishing licence. 
The following fishing licences are available:
Season fishing licence: 300 kr. Valid one year from purchase. Maximum 3 Pike perch / Trout per boat within 24 hrs. Only two rods per person and one bait 
per rod is allowed. Maximum 4 rods/tools per boat.
Trolling fishing licence: 1000 kr/Year. 150kr /Day 24 hours Maximum 3 Pike perch/trout per boat within 24 hrs. 6 rods/tools and one bait 
rod/tool per boat may be used.
Day fishing licence: 30 kr. Valid 24 hrs. Maximum 3 Pike perch/trout per boat within 24 hrs. Only two rods per person and one bait per rod is allowed. 
Maximum 4 rods/tools per boat.
Weekly fishing licence: 100 kr. Valid one week from the day of purchase. Same rules as day fishing licence.
Competition fishing licence: 5 kr. Only for organized competitions. Not valid for trolling competitions.
Fishing licence for fishing tackles: 200 kr. Valid during the winter season when the lake is covered with ice. The fishing licence permit you, provided that 
you also have a season fishing licence, to use up to 10 tackles.
Guest fishing licence: 300 kr. If you wish your family or friends to fish together with you, you need to purchase a guest fishing licence. It allows three 
persons provided you are present, as a holder of a fishing licence. A guest fishing licence is not valid when lake Viken is covered with ice. 
Youngsters below 15 years of age must not have a fishing licence, though they must follow general rules for fishing licences.
You may only angle with hand rods with various types of lures and baits. Tackle fishing, maximum 10 tackles during ice season is also allowed if you have a 
season fishing licence and a special tackle permit.
You have to be familiar with common rules and regulations such as what fishing methods you may not use, e.g Fish- gig ( spear) and the minimum length of 
various fishes allowed to catch.
Minimum size for pike perch 40 cm and maximum size 60 cm.  You are not allowed to catch pike-perch between 1 of May to 15 of June.Trout between 1okt to 30nov

trout and asp are not allawed to catch.

Fishing of crayfishes is prohibited.
