3-day cards are valid from the time the card is purchased and three days from now.

For annual cards for living in the resort or living in the resort family card, the cards are valid annually calculated from 1/5 - 30/4. Free card for young people under the age of 16. Applies to both tourists and local residents. Not valid in put and take

Fishing rules
Västerdalälven and Ogströmmen - maximum 5 fish per day in the size range 25-35 centimeters . Fishing ban on trout in Västerdalälven and Ogströmmen 15/9--1/11. Fishing ban on grayling 1/4--15/5.

Crayfish fishing allowed in Bredsjön, normal fishing license applies. Malungs fvof, Äppelbo fvof and Rämens fvof all have the right to fish in Milsjön, Milsjökalven and Fjällrämen. Fishing may take place in all of these 3, without any limits, however a valid fishing license for your own area must be present, this applies to all fishing. Otherwise, all crayfish fishing is prohibited within Malung's fvof.

Crayfish fishing may take place from 11/8 at 17.00 until 13/8 at 12.00 and 18/8 at 17.00 until 20/8 at 12.00. Max 8 cages per fishing license. A fishing license for the respective area must apply.

All cages must be marked on the float with name and phone number. otherwise they are picked up from the water.

A trophy over 35 centimeters may be taken and then count into the quota a maximum of 5 fish per day.
Max 3 fish per day in water where fish are released annually. no minimum size.

Lake Alma. Max 3 fish. Angling for pike allowed. Fishing ban from 1/9 until ice-out to protect spawning areas.
Rysjön Max 3 fish. Fishing ban from 1/9 until ice is laid to protect the spawning area.

Grössjön permitted with angling for pike.

Malung's fvof recommends everyone to put back caught pike over 85 cm, as well as perch over 40 cm

Only one rod per person in fine fishing waters and hand gear fishing only.

Huslabäcken and Örartjänsbäcken (178) fishing prohibited according to signage.
Only hand gear fishing in all flowing waters.
Russian fishing allowed for pike fishing in Västerdalälven's tributaries.
Net ban below the rapids in Malungsfors according to signage.
