Trolling and casting with a maximum of 10 rods/bait per boat and fishing license.

The card applies to all of Siljan, Orsasjön, Insjön, Byrviken but not Alviken and Österdalälven

When trolling and casting, the boat must be in motion, otherwise each FVOF's own fishing license is needed.

Wild trout are protected (trout with adipose fins remaining are protected) and re-released

Tagged trout with a floytag or Carlin tag may be taken regardless of size

A maximum of 1 fin-clipped trout with a minimum size of 50 cm may be taken per day and fishing license

Pikes over 100 cm are re-released

Fishing for sale is prohibited

Children under 16 fish for free on their guardian's fishing license

Fishing license and identification must be carried while fishing and must be able to be shown to supervisory staff on request.

Where fishing takes place that deviates from the above-mentioned regulations, FVO or its representatives have the right to charge a control fee of SEK 2,000.

Every fisherman has an obligation to find out which rules apply within the FVO in which he/she fishes.

1/9-31/12, all fishing in all outlets and 300 meters out is prohibited.
