RULES FOR THE KOLBÄCKSÅN (Area Sportfishing Smedjebacken)

Hand gear fishing only.
The fishing license is personal.

• Fishing card/Prices (All cards are valid in the entire river):

  • Children/youth up to 15 years of age, fish in the company of an adult on their fishing license & quota. This person must be able to handle and use and keep track of the equipment himself. If the child chooses not to actively fish, the gear is taken out of the water (Also applies to bottom/float fishing). Of course, you have to assist the child with help.

• Youth unaccompanied by an adult up to 15 years, SEK 150/3 fish

• • Adult card from 16 years SEK 200/3 fish

• Max 2 cards/day per person. A total of 6 fish may be taken up per day.

  The day passes are valid 00:00-24:00, i.e. calendar days.

You get:

• You may use a float ring in pool 2,3,5,6,7,8 and 9

• Wading from the edge of the beach with wading boots, but not in pool 1, 4 and 10

• Only fish with 1 rod according to specified methods

• With the day card, fish between 00:00 - 24:00, i.e. calendar days

• Start fishing immediately after you redeem your fishing license (after 30 minutes if purchased at iFiske)

• With the daily card, take up a maximum of 3 fish/card/day

• Use the fireplaces and throwing areas that have been prepared

You may not:

* Use some form of fishing in pool 10.

* Fishing from the bridges

• Fishing from the parts that are demarcated from fishing on the map or with signs

• Hand over your fishing license to someone else

• Fishing from a boat.

• Conduct mashing

• Use several rods when fishing

• Use long-haul so-called "trailing bait"

• Littering in nature • Sawing down trees, twigs or taking handfuls from the trees in the area

• Use the wind protection in pool 8 when it is booked. (Information about this is continuously posted on Facebook)

* Catch & Release is not allowed in our waters.

Think of:

• That fly fishing refers to fishing with a fly rod, fly line, hook and 1st fly

• Carrying the fishing license clearly visible

• That angling refers to fishing with a baited hook

• That the rod used must be out of hand or immediately accessible to the angler at all times

• To always follow instructions and show consideration for animal & plant life

Fisheries supervision:

We have several people who carry out fishing supervision, this for everyone's well-being and security. The people will actively control the area and its visitors. During a check, you as a fisherman are obliged to present a valid fishing license and, if necessary, a valid ID document. The supervisors report violations of the law, for example fishing without a valid fishing license, etc. The actions that are against the association's rules but are not a violation of the law will be charged with a so-called control fee. This fee varies depending on the type of violation committed.

• If you fish in an unauthorized area, the fee is SEK 2,500 • For other unauthorized fishing, the fee is SEK 2,500
