RULES FOR FISHING IN LAKE VÄRMELN

The following rules for fishing have been established at the fishing meetings on 10 April 2019 for Södra Värmelns FVOF and on 11 April for Norra Värmelns FVOF.
The rules also apply to fishing in Rommen, Ingersbytjärnet, Yppersbytjärnet. Loose fishing licenses do not entitle to fishing in flowing waters such as Brunsbergsälven, Finntjärnsbäcken, Vrångbäcken and Slorudsälven. However, slum fishing in the Brunsberg River is free. NOTE! The rules apply until 2020 and 2021.

GENERAL RULES
Established minimum dimensions and restrictions:
Trout and Salmon 60 cm - fishing ban annually during the period 1/9 to 31/12. Maximum 2 fish per fishing opportunity.
Perch 45 - 75 cm so-called window socket. Fishing ban annually 1/5 to 15/6. Maximum 2 fish per fishing opportunity.
Pike over 100 cm should be returned.
Smaller fish and fish of trout, salmon or pikeperch caught during the prohibition period shall be returned, regardless of size, alive or dead.
When trolling / equivalent. is the maximum number of rods / equivalent. after boat 2, regardless of the number of active fishermen in the boat.

Outstanding gear must be marked with buoys and marked with the owner's name or property designation and tel. No.
Angeldon / Ice fishing max 3 gear / rod per person.
Young people under the age of 16 fish for free with hand gear.
The crayfish fishery is regulated within each home. Tools must be marked with name / property designation / tel. no.

MEMBERS 'OWN FISHING (Property with fishing rights)

Fishing license: For fishing, a member (fishing right holder) must redeem fishing license issued by the board. For issued fishing license, fishing may be conducted, in addition to the member, also by the member's spouse or equivalent, as well as children registered in the parental home.
The fishing license, which is valid for 1 year (1 / 5-30 / 4) must be redeemed with SEK 50 and entitles the member to fish:

• within the own home network with all legal gear, however limited to a maximum of five nets (maximum 150 m), curved and marked at both ends and five Russian vessels.

• Within the entire fisheries conservation area with hand gear and fishing rod / ice fishing rod without restriction.

• For the practice of fishing, a member must redeem a fishing license of SEK 50 (valid from 1 May to 30 April of the following year). Certificate of fishing license can be supplemented with a so-called guest card of SEK 50. A guest card only entitles to hand gear fishing and is valid for one guest fisherman per fishing occasion.
  
  PROVISION OF FISHING

• Place card (home card): A person who is registered in the home included in the fisheries conservation area and such unit holder in the fishery (unit holder in jointly owned or deceased property, etc.) who does not own the correct loose fishing license, is entitled to a loose place card. The local card is valid for 1 year (1/5 - 30/4) and costs SEK 200 and entitles the holder to the same fishing as the fishing license. The place card is personal and can not be transferred, but includes spouse and children registered in the parental home or thus equal.

• Property card : Owner of tied fishing has the right to redeem property card for further transfer to any named person. The price of a property card, which is valid for 1 year (1 / 5-31 / 4) is SEK 50. The property card entitles the holder to fishing only within the transferring fishing right holder's property and according to the same rules that apply to fishing rights certificates within the property.

• Fishing license : The rest of the public can redeem fishing licenses, which entitle the holder to fish with hand gear (fishing rod, casting rod, fly rod and angler rod, as well as fishing gear or ice fishing max 3 rods / gear. The fishing license is personal and non- transferable.

A valid fishing license / fishing license or receipt from payment via bank / internet bank, must be brought with you when fishing and on request presented to a fishing supervisor, fishing right holder or co-fishing. The associations have specially appointed fisheries supervisors (with the authority of the police) with the task of monitoring compliance with current fishing rules.

The trolling card, gives the holder the right to drive with a maximum of 6 rods as well as the right to conduct vertical fishing. The Trolling card also includes other benefits that apply to the purchase of ordinary fishing licenses.

NOTE! Commercial guiding with business activities in trolling fishing is prohibited

The associations' income for trolling cards is earmarked and goes in full to the introduction of fish or to fishing improvement measures.

In addition , a valid fishing license is required for the day, week, or year for other active fishermen in the boat. Children / youth -16 years fish for free.
The trolling card is valid throughout Lake Värmeln.
(Rommen, Ingersbytjärn, Yppersbytjärn are not included in the trolling card)

Simple boat with a maximum of 2 rods does not count as trolling.

• Trout and Salmon 60 cm - fishing ban annually between 1 September - 31 December
• GOS Fönsteruttag 45-75 cm. Fishing ban annually between 1 May and 15 June. Maximum 2 fish per occasion / day.
• Smaller fish and fish of trout, salmon and pikeperch caught during the prohibition period, regardless of size, must be returned to the lake whether they are alive or dead.

Think of! To take care of our waters and beaches. Do not litter, be careful with fire, do not throw reef stumps, plastic bags or anything else into the water.
