RULES FOR FISHING IN NISSAN FISHERY AREA 2020
Fishing is allowed in Nissan from Oskarström (the regulating pond at Ry Mill) to the outlet in the sea. Fishing may only be conducted within specified fishing pools and only by holders with a valid fishing license.
The fishing area is divided into pools, a total of nine, no. 0-4 and 6-9. The pool boundaries are marked with signs. Allowed fishing methods within the zone are indicated by text on the sign. Fly fishing only (pools 3 and 8), fly / spin / mete (pool 0, 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 9). The location of the pools is shown on the map.
Fishing may be conducted: On the eastern side (Frennarp side) downstream yellow marking about 150 meters below the Slottsmöllan power station. On the west side downstream yellow mark opposite the above. Throwing upstream is prohibited.
Fly fishing may be conducted from a line about 10 meters upstream of the suspension cable, also marked with red about 100 meters from the bridge. Note that throwing at the area previously called the "pantry" is not allowed. The area is located downstream of the salmon staircase and the outlet from the power plant and ends at the yellow marking. See map.
A valid fishing license is required to fish within the area. Fishing licenses whose category or date have in any way been changed or not filled in are not valid. Fishing licenses must be fully visible on the arm and always be able to be shown together with identification at the request of the fishery supervisor.
Sales of annual cards continue until 2020-06-30, after which only sales of other card types.
Limitations of annual card adult in Nissan to 250 and year card youth to 50.

Children under the age of 12 in the keeper's company get free fishing, if the keeper has a valid fishing license.
Group from school or leisure farm in Halmstad municipality, has the right to fish on one adult card per 10 pupils. The same category of groups from other municipalities have the right to fish on one adult card per 5 pupils.
Fishing may be conducted between 1 March - 30 September between 05:00 and 22:00 in all pools. During the period March 1 - August 31, fishing in Pool 1 and Pool 8 may be conducted between 5:00 and 24:00. During the period October 1-14, fishing in Pool 9 may be conducted between 7 am and 7 pm.
Fishing may be conducted with fly, spin and fishing rod. Only one rod per person. Fishing from a boat is not allowed. Jerk fishing is strictly prohibited by Swedish law. All incorrectly hooked fish must be discarded unconditionally. Mete with mask is prohibited March-April. Only single hooks may be used during the period from 1 March to 30 April in Pools 0 and 1. From 1 May, three hooks may be used. In order to reduce the damage to the fish to be resettled, it is recommended that only bareless single hook is used.
Fishing licenses justify catching a maximum of 4 salmon and 4 trout per season. Repositioning of large salmon females is recommended!
Caught and re-exposed fish must unconditionally be reported to Fiska.se. Attention! Caught bass (cured salmon) must unconditionally be released.
The following minimum dimensions apply, calculated from the nose tip to the tail tip of the tail fin: 45 cm trout: 45 cm. Fisheries that do not keep their dimensions must be suspended.

The fisherman must comply with the rules of the fishery conservation area and additional instructions provided by the fishery supervisor. Fishermen who violate the rules or fail to follow the supervisor's instructions can be suspended and forced to return their fishing license without compensation.
Do not leave hooks, ropes or anything else that can harm birds and animals. Fish to be retained must be killed immediately.
Changes or additions to the rules can be made without any obligation to pay compensation from the fishing care area during the current season. It is advertised on the Tourist Office and website. You are obliged as an angler to keep yourself informed and to comply with applicable fishing regulations. Violation of rules can lead to the cancellation of the fishing right.
