You must have a fishing license to fish, this must always be brought with you when fishing. During fishing inspections, the fishing license must be presented to the inspector without further admonition. Facilitate control by stopping and picking up the implements.

The code for the fishing license must be carried when fishing! Either bring your mobile phone with the SMS, or write down the number code you received in your fishing license.

For fishing in Älgsjön, a special fishing license is required. Maximum 3 fish and minimum size 25 cm.

Free fishing for children and young people up to 15 years.

Permitted fishing methods are angling, spinning, trolling, pimping, 10 fishing rods for ice fishing. Eel is forbidden to fish.

Trout may not be fished from 15 September to 1 April. The minimum size for trout is 40 cm. Trout caught during the prohibition period or below the minimum size must be re-released!

Pikeperch may not be fished from 10 May to 10 June. Minimum size for pikeperch is 45 cm.
Fishing with otters or other surface side paravan - for the purpose of bringing the bait more than one reel length from the boat side is prohibited.

When two or more people fish from the same boat and more than one gear is used, a fishing license is required for each participant or valid boat license. NOTE areas canceled for fishing are available, see marking on fishing license. In the event of a violation of these regulations and rules, you will be punished according to Swedish law.

To increase well-being, consideration should be given to living by the lake and it is a matter of course that landowners are consulted before starting to fish from the beach and jetties. We should also keep in mind that it is not a right, but a privilege to be allowed to fish and stay by this lake, and to act accordingly.
