Together with Nätten's fish conservation area, SLU and Umeå University, we have started an investigation into the life of the char in Näkten. A number of trout have received a numbered mark on their backs, some have also received an inside transmitter. The transmitters send out information that is captured by some twenty recipients who sit at various locations in the lake at 20-30 meters depth. We want to ask you as a fisherman and catch a marked char of a service! If possible, we are grateful to note the number of the mark, but release the fish. It makes great use when swimming freely and shows us how it moves. If you caught a tagged fish on the net, or for some other reason cannot be returned, we would like you to let us know. Also tell if you find a transmitter in the belly of the fish (looks like a battery). We work long-term to strengthen the Näke stock of char, but to know how to help it we need knowledge. One way to get us there is to track how the fish move in the lake. Report the number on the mark and when and where the fish is caught to the County Administrative Board: 010 225 53 03 (Pierre Samuelsson, Mon-Fri, 8-16) or pierre email@example.com . Your information is important to us! If you have any questions, you can contact us or Näken's fish conservation area. Thank you for helping us learn more about Naked's char!
