Our fine fishing licenses and rules

• Day pass: Valid for fishing from 00:00-23:59. A maximum of three fish per card may be caught. (Hedström's rainbow stretch) MAX 1 fish (RB) Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15, valid in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing license. (on their quota)
• Family card: Family card is valid for one day for 2 adults and up to and including the age of 15 years. The family members must live at the same address. A total of maximum 6 fish may be caught. (The heath stream MAX 1 fish (RB)
• Weekend card : The weekend card is valid during the weekend, fishing can start at: 16:00 on Friday and is valid for the whole of Saturday and Sunday until 23:59. Total max 6 fish during the weekend. (Hedströmmen MAX 1 fish (RB) Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15, valid in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing license. (on their quota)

ATTENTION! Edelfiske card bought for edelfiske water in Krampen is NOT valid in Malingsbo-Kloten edelfiskevatten.

To think of

• Before you go on the fishing trip, please pay attention to the following terms and conditions:
• The fishing license is personal and must bear your name and specified date of validity. On request, you must be able to show your fishing license and also be able to identify yourself.
• The fishing license must always be carried when fishing.
• You yourself are obliged to check what applies before you start fishing. The County Administrative Board can provide more information ( www.lst.se ).
• Changes or additions to rules and instructions can be made during the current season.
• Other fishing legislation applies in addition to these rules.
• If you break the rules, fishing rights will cease immediately
• In case of suspected poaching, please contact Sveaskog's customer center on tel. 0771-787 100.

Our precious fishing waters

In our noble fishing waters in Malingsbo Kloten, you can fish for planted trout and rainbow trout, but also for natural stocks of trout and char. A large selection of water that suits everyone, from lakes and ponds to running water. The different color markings on the map show our waters and where you can fish and what type of fishing license is required.

RED WATER - Put & take - Lilla Djurlången & Rågåstjärn (NOTE! The longfish have been removed from "Edelfiske Malingsbo - Kloten" and are now included in "Family Lakes Malingsbo" (Orange water)

• Spinning, angling and fly fishing
• Continuous release of salmonid fish takes place during the ice-free season
• Winter fishing only in Lilla Djurlången
• Max 3 fish per card/day.
• Own boats, canoes or the like may not be used in our "RED" noble fishing lakes, however float fishing with a fly rod is only permitted in Lilla Djurlången.

ROSA VATTEN - Put & take - Medium iron, Perch iron, Hedströmmen rainbow fishing (s träkkan Väg 233 - Nyhammar dammen)

• Fly fishing only.
• Continuous release of salmonid fish takes place during the ice-free season .
• Max 3 fish per card/day.
• ATTENTION! In Hedströmmen, MAX ONE fish (rainbow) may be caught per card per day.
• Catch and release on all trout
• No wading in all flowing water.
• Fishing allowed all year round.
• Own boats, canoes, flotation rings or the like may not be used in our "PINK" noble fishing lakes and waterways.

PURPLE WATER - Catch & Release - Hedströmmen Trout fishing ( Hedströmmen downstream of Nyhammar dam-Nedre Borgfors)

• Catch and Release on ALL trout
• Only fly fishing with barb loose hook.
• No wading in all flowing water.
• Fishing ban 1/10-31/12
• Release of support from Hedströmsöring
• Own boats, canoes, flotation rings or the like may not be used in our "PURPLE" waters.

GREEN WATER - Quota C&R fishing Västra Skälsjön and Östra Skälsjön Catch and release fishing for wild trout and char

• In the Skälsjöarna, reservations are required and all fishing is conducted from floating rings or from Sveaskog's rental boats (rowing boats). Two boats are available for hire in each lake.
• A total of 6 fishermen per day in each lake. 4 float anglers and 2 fly anglers from a boat. ATTENTION! Only 1 fisherman in each boat.
• Only traditional fly fishing with a barb loose hook is allowed . With traditional fly fishing, a fly rod with fly line and fly is counted. Jigs, "propeller flies", plastic balls, spinning flies, baited hooks or hooks with odorants are not allowed
• Catch and release fishing applies
• Fishing from land is prohibited.
• You book your boat/card or floating card at www.ifiske.se
• Bring your own life jacket and possibly anchor. Connecting a battery/petrol-driven engine is prohibited on Sveaskog's boats.

Other rules for fishing

• Fishing may be done with ONE rod, (one card = one fishing rod).
• Only one rod per valid fishing license may be brought to the lake , also applies to fly fishing rods.
• A fly, a line or a hook with bait may be attached to a rod, not live bait in our noble fishing lakes. The rod used must be kept out of hand or be immediately accessible to the angler at all times.
• Jerk fishing is prohibited, but it is permitted to use grappling hooks to retrieve caught fish.
• Mashing not allowed.
• When fishing, the rod must not be left unattended.
• Fishing with otters or nets is prohibited.
• Own boats, canoes or the like may not be used in our noble fishing lakes and waterways, however float fishing is only permitted in Lilla Djurlången and Skälsjöarna.

Terms and Conditions  

• Crayfish must not be caught.
• Fires may only be made in designated places.
• Do not litter, take the rubbish home with you or use the rubbish bins adjacent to the parking lots.
• Camping with mobile home/caravan only permitted for those who have purchased a fishing license.

ATTENTION! Fishing licenses bought for fishing in Malingsbo - Kloten's noble fishing waters are NOT valid in Krampensjöarna's noble fishing!
