• Only fishing with a valid fishing license.
• The fishing license is personal and must always be carried together with a valid ID document.
• The season in Stavreströmmen and Other streams is valid from 30 May to 31 August.
• In the Stavreströmmen, fishing without barbs and a fly on the paw, with a single hook, applies. In other streams, spin fishing also applies.
• The tab must not be thinner than 0.18. Fly fishing applies with a fly rod of at least class 5.
• Indicator may not be used in any form.
• Window outlet applies to trout.
  Trout between 40-55 cm (approx. 7 hg-1.5 kg may be taken and those that are both larger and smaller must be released again). For greyhounds, the minimum measurement is 35 cm.
• A maximum of one trout and one grayling may be taken.
• Fishing must be conducted within the limits, for the respective fishing license, which are exposed on our map.
• Respect the "fishing ban" on the "lake neck" (limit moved down to the stone arms, approx. 40 m). See picture on the website and on the information board.
• You must be able to show a valid fishing license and ID document.
• Mandatory catch reporting applies. Failure to report a catch may result in suspension.
• We do not refund or replace fishing licenses if we have to close fishing due to high water temperature or low water level.
  The water temperature for closing fishing is +19 gr two days in a row, fishing opens when the water temperature stabilizes below 19 gr.
• Ban on using waders with felt soles, due to the risk of spreading cancer.

Rules for Catch & Release

• Touch the fish as little as possible. It is very important that the mucus layer of the fish is not damaged.
• Nets with soft plastic or fine-mesh nets must be used when taking in the fish.
• The fish must not be lifted out of the water or "backed"/pulled onto land.
• Remove the hook with pliers/pliers.
• Allow the fish to recover in the net without touching the fish. If the fish needs help regaining strength, you can hold it in the net or wet your hands and hold the fish in the tail coil until it recovers.
  THE FISH MUST NOT BE LIFT OUT OF THE WATER WITH YOUR HANDS!!
• Mandatory catch reporting applies. Failure to report a catch may result in suspension.
  In order to better manage the fisheries within the Övre Gimån FVO, we need help collecting information about what the stocks in different watercourses look like. Partly for the statistics, partly so that you as guests will get an idea of where and how the catches take place, and so that we can follow the development of the stock.

The fishing license cannot be cancelled.
