The fishing license holder's rights and obligations:

• The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. The fishing license or proof of payment must always be carried when fishing and shown to the fishing supervisor on request.
• Children and young people up to the age of 16 fish free of charge in the area. The exception is the put&take fishing in Abborrttjärn in Los.
• The right to fish ends immediately if the current rules are not observed, but the holder of the card has the right to recover the fee paid. In the event of a violation of the fishing regulations, a control fee may be charged. In the case of fishing without a valid fishing license, the supervisor has the right to confiscate equipment and draw up a police report on illegal fishing.
• Possession of a fishing license does NOT include the right to use roads within the area. Be careful with fire in forest and land.
• Local fishing bans and restrictions may occur, this is then signposted.

Noble fishing

The following rules and restrictions apply in the following waters: Perch iron, Blankt iron, Hebbusot iron, Hockalamm, Hötjärn, Igeltjärn, Myllilamm, Mårdsjön, Råtjärn, Smaltjärn, Tallbergsjärn, Älgsjön and Trout star.

• Rod fishing only! (Throwing rod, fly rod, fishing rod or pimp rod). Only one rod per angler may be used.
• Fishing from a boat is prohibited. We equate flotation rings and all other flotation devices with boat fishing. Exceptions may occur.
• Exception boat fishing Älgsjön: Boat is available for rent. Float fishing allowed in Älgsjön for a fee equivalent to boat hire. Own boat not allowed. Engine not allowed.
• Minimum size: trout 35cm. Char 30cm.
• A maximum of 3 salmon fish may be kept per day and card. NOTE: In Lake Hockalamm, only one trout may be kept per fishing license per day. This is to protect the stock, which is self-reproducing.

Boat, gear and fishing methods:

• The fishing license entitles you to fish with only 1 hand gear at a time. A maximum of 12 anglers may be set out per fishing card.
• Net fishing: 1 day/5 nets only applies to net fishing in the following lakes: Dåasen, Fetingen, Gällsjön, Hamrasjöarna, Karsjön, Kroksjön, Lomsjöarna, Lårgarna, Mansjön, Nätsjön, Ryggasjöarna, Sillersjöarna, Stenslåsjön, Tensjön, Västersjön and Västersjön
• Fishing gear that is left unattended must be marked in such a way that the marking clearly shows who is the user of the gear.
• Fishing NOT allowed. Jerk fishing not allowed. Pike scissors not allowed.

Fishing restrictions

• All fishing in flowing water is prohibited from 1/9-31/12.
• During 2023-2024, Västerhocklan is closed to all fishing. But the fishing ban does not apply in Lake Laxtjärn.
• Mackerel fishing prohibited 1/3-15/5
• Minimum size: grayling & trout 35cm. Char 30cm.
• Fishing is prohibited 50 m below and 25 m above hiking barriers.
