From 2021-08-01 only day cards will be sold. Youth who have not reached the age of 15 fish for free. Payment must always be made in advance. This also applies to boat hire. Whoever acquires a fishing license obtains the right to fish with the following fishing methods: spin fishing, fly fishing, angling and ice bobbing. Stationary gear must not be used. The fishing card is personal and must not be used by someone else. When trolling, no more than two rods per card may be used. Bass longer than 35 cm must be released. Not more than one pike or one walleye (pike-perch) in the length interval of 50-65 centimetres may be kept per day and card. Other catch of pike or walleye (pike-perch) must be released. In April and May all walleye (pike-perch) must be released.

The lake is overseen by rangers. These carry a badge or jacket with the text "Fisketillsyn". Anyone caught fishing in breach of these regulations for the fishing, may be forced to pay a control fee of 500 SEK. He may also be reported to the police and faces the risk of having his fishing gear confiscated.

The boat must be cleaned and emptied from water before it is handed in.
