Current Fishing Regulations Lilla Lövsjön (revised October 2022)

• Lilla Lövsjön is open for fly fishing all year round on an ice-free lake. All ice fishing is prohibited.
• A 24-hour card is valid for 24 hours, is personal and may not be transferred. A maximum of 2 rainbows may be picked up and kept per card. If 2 rainbows are occupied, the card is used up and a new card must be redeemed. If 2 rainbows are occupied, it is therefore not permitted to continue with catch & release fishing on the same card, but a new card must be redeemed to continue fishing.
• An Annual Pass is valid for 365 days from the date it is redeemed, is personal and may not be transferred. The card is valid for both land fishing and float fishing. A maximum of 2 fish per day and 8 fish per year may be kept (same as for members). When two rainbows have been caught on the same day, the fishing must be ended or the day pass must be redeemed. When 8 rainbows have been taken up in a year, the card is used up.
• When fishing, a valid and fully completed fishing license must be carried.
• Valid identification must be brought.
• The holder of a fishing license is obliged to follow the instructions on the fishing license which can be given at the card sales points or which are indicated on notices at the fishing water.
• Children under the age of 16 may fish free of charge in the company of a guardian with a valid fishing license. However, 2 occupied rainbows per card apply.
• Only fly fishing with traditional fly fishing equipment is permitted. All other fishing is prohibited, which includes, among other things, fishing with casting balls/bombs, spin fishing, angling (regardless of bait or method) or fishing with net gear.
• Max one rod per angler at a time.
• Fishing may only take place from land or by wading, with the exception of float fishing (see special rules below).
• Float fishing is permitted all year round on ice-free lakes with the exception of Utloppsviken. The buoyancy limit is clearly marked with landmarks and buoys (see also map). Float fishing is not allowed south of this border and thus you may not cross this border with your float. Shore anglers have priority throughout the lake with casting distance. Floating with oars is not permitted. Boat motors are not permitted.
• Grass carp and trout are protected and must be carefully reintroduced. Targeted fishing against these species is prohibited.
• Anyone who violates these regulations loses their fishing right with immediate effect. Regulations apply to legal liability.
• All illegal fishing is reported to the police.
