Registration:

From June 4th you are welcome to buy your place for crayfish fishing in Delsjön and Sisjön 2025!
One card includes a loan of 6 bucks and 2 nets as well as bait.
If you wish to fish from a boat, email kraftfiske@sportfiskarna.se
If you have a valid Yellow Card Annual Card purchased via iFiske, enter the password you received via email and you will receive a 100 SEK discount.
If you have purchased a physical Yellow Card annual pass, you will receive a password if you email kraftfiske@sportfiskarna.se

The number of cards is limited to 70 for each fishing opportunity in Delsjön and 40 in Sisjön at one fishing opportunity and it is first come, first served. If you choose to fish from a boat in Delsjön, boat rental will be added with 200 SEK. Please note that we only have 6 boats so it is first come, first served with registration - contact kraftfiske@sportfiskarna.se for your booking or if you have further questions.

On fishing day (DELSJÖARNA):

Fishing equipment and bait can be picked up at the front of the Sportfiskarnas regional office at Sjölyckan 6.
The handover opens at 4 pm and the equipment must be returned to the back of the office (the yellow house) in the garage at the bottom of the road no later than midnight . Each “card” includes a loan of 6 mjärds and 2 nets as well as bait. Your own equipment and bait may not be used. You will also be given a measuring stick and a form with fishing rules and a catch report to fill out. If you fill out the catch report online, please state the number of crayfish over and under 10cm.

When you pick up your equipment, you can also choose a fishing spot, subject to availability , on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that you cannot reserve a spot by going there in advance. To facilitate the allocation of spots, Stora Delsjön is divided into fishing zones, see map . For fishing from a boat, zones 4 and 6 apply.

The anglers provide all fishing equipment - but don't forget to bring your own flashlight, bucket for the catch and a knife to share the bait with.

Also keep in mind that the area is a nature reserve and that fires are only allowed in designated areas.

On fishing day (SISJÖN):

Fishing equipment and bait can be collected from the Scoutstugan at Sisjön . The handover opens at 5 pm and the equipment must be returned to the same location no later than 11:30 pm . Each “card” includes a loan of 6 baits and 2 nets as well as bait. Your own equipment and bait may not be used. You will also receive a measuring stick and a form with fishing rules and a catch report to fill out.

To prevent it from getting too crowded, Sisjön is divided into different fishing zones. When you pick up your equipment, you can choose a fishing zone, subject to availability , on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that you cannot reserve a spot by going there in advance.

Crayfish fishing tips:

# Look for a hard bottom, preferably with rocks and other places where the crayfish can hide.
# Be quick when you pull up the net, the crayfish can quickly run away if you are too slow.
# Don't whitewash too often, 2-3 times during the evening is enough. The crayfish become active after dark, so wait until then to whitewash for the first time.

The minimum size for approved crayfish is 10 cm .
