Fishing season in Mölndalsån 1 April – 30 September.

ZONE 1 - Västra Nedsjön to Ryaviaduct: Fly fishing only.
ZONE 2 - Ryaviadukten to Snåkeredsbron/Chalmers golf club:
Fishing with a rod carried from the hand is a permitted method.

The money from fishing licenses goes to biotope preservation/fishery preservation efforts in the river to primarily benefit the trout.
Apart from the money, the work is primarily based on non-profit efforts and we have a couple of work meetings/meetings every year.
