Northeast of Gothenburg, between Ale and Gothenburg municipalities, on the edge of the Vättlefjälls nature reserve, a beautiful forest lake opens up with mountainous shores and clear water. The lake has a strong population of perch and pike. At times, fishing can offer surprisingly large fish.
The lake is 1.5 km long and relatively shallow. However, there are a couple of sections where the depth of the lake reaches 9 m. In the four ponds that belong to the fishing license, which can be characterized as moss lakes, there are plenty of smaller perch, but pike weighing up to 5 kg have also been caught.
