Outside Horred between Kinna and Varberg are about ten lakes that are part of the Hornsjöarna fishing area, of which Stora Hornsjön accounts for most of the fishing.
Stora Hornsjön has a maximum depth of about 50 meters and is large. Fish were planted here a few years ago. Lilla Hornsjön is easy to fish in. Despite overgrowth around the edges, there are several good places to fish from land. Hellesjön in Helsjön is also a deep lake with large perch. Hornån which flows into Viskan contains trout. The dam at Vasse prevents migration up into the lakes.
