Lake Ygden is part of the Bräkneån water system and is located just east of Tingsryd and extends about 6 km north. At the far south there is an easily accessible boat ramp. The lake is divided into two parts by a strait and covers 434 ha. The average depth is about 2 meters with a number of areas with a maximum depth of about 5 meters.
