Området gäller Svartån från Öringebron i Boxholms kommun ner till Burensköldsbron i centrala Mjölby.Svartån anses av många sportfiskare vara ett av landets bästa metevatten och det är här som de största färnorna och sarvarna fångas. Det finns dessutom ett rikt bestånd av andra fiskarter som tex abborre, gädda och ål.
