Lake Övrasjön is located just east of the village of Skirö and north of the bigger Lake Saljen. The lake is popular for ice fishing for perch, and also a popular place for perch fishing competitions during winter. Lake Övrasjön has a rich population of big perch and pike around eight to ten kilos are caught from time to time.
There is a nice bathing place in the north part of the lake (see map), equipped with a bridge and a barbeque place. Unfortunately there are no boats for hire in Övrasjön and no boat ramp. But there are some good possibilities to fish from the shoreline, also for wheel-chaired persons.
