Salen is a beautiful lake in Alvesta and Växjö municipality of approximately 18 km2.
The fishery management area also includes Igelsjön and parts of Helige Å, Hjortsbergaån, Lekarydsån, Obyån and Opparydsbäcken. See map for further information.
A launching area with a boat ramp is located in the northern part at the treatment plant.
Min-Max dimensions of pike 45-80cm all other fish must be released.
Min-Max dimensions of pikeperch 45-70cm all other fish must be released.
During the month of May, all pikeperch must be released.
An inspection fee will be issued if the above is not followed (1000:-)
A maximum total of two pike and or two pikeperch per fishing license and day.
