Glaskogen is Värmland's largest nature reserve, covering 28,000 hectares of mostly wilderness woodland. In this unique nature reserve, you can experience fantastic nature, beautiful waterways and a wide range of wildlife and vegetation.
One fifth of its surface area consists of water and within the reserve the altitudes vary between 110 and 300 meters above sea level. The nature reserve has 300 km of hiking trails to choose from.
Glaskogen's fishing permit is valid in around 80 lakes and ponds in and around Glaskogen's Nature Reserve. The fish catch varies from pike, perch, zander to salmon, trout, char and whitefish.
In the southern part of Glaskogen at Lake Lilla Rämmingen there is a prepared accessible fishing pier. Adjacent to the fishing pier there is a rest area with a windbreak, barbecue area and dry toilet.
