Kallsjön är en stor och djup fiskrik fjällsjö med öring, kanadaröding, fjällröding, harr och sik. Kanske mest känd för trollingfiske.

Inom fiskevårdsområdet ingår även ett antal tjärnar på södra sidan av Kallsjön såsom Daltjärnen, Gruvdammarna, Gråvalstjärnen, Övre-Lilltjärn, Nedre-Lilltjärnen, Sandkläpptjärnen och Stortjärnen. I dessa tjärnar finns det fin öring och röding.
