Abborrtjärn is a pond that is largely surrounded by marshland, here there is plenty of throwing space and places to stand. 2 shelters are available with associated barbecue areas and good access to firewood.
Bergtjärn is a pond whose surroundings consist of forest land. There are a few pine trees by the water, but there is still plenty of space and throwing spaces. There is a shelter with barbecue area with associated firewood.
To get down to the pond you have to walk a short distance in the forest, down a hill where there is a rope to hold on to, as it is quite steep. Unfortunately we have pike in Bergtjärn but during the summer months we fish for pike for 1-2 weekends. During the winter the pike is fished from the ice in the pond.
Every year we look over the areas to possibly clear the vegetation. You don't have to walk far from the car to get to the ponds, they are located close to the road.
